Or is it too late to be wishing that?
Well we are still in January after all, and I genuinely do hope that 2017 will bring you happiness dear friend.
Welcome to the first post of my new blog.
Following the tradition begun by Ali Edwards I have chosen a single word each year to be a theme for that 12 month period. The fact that it is just one single word, which could have a multitude of meanings, allows for many interpretations and intentions.
After a lot of thought, I have finally settled on a olw, or one little word, for 2017. This year I have chosen "Share". The definitions of this word when used as a verb follow, and you will see how there are many different meanings, and the most obvious is not always the envisioned one.
And so here I am friends, ready to share my arty makes, thoughts and experiences with you.
The light in the south-east of England is really not the best for taking photos at this time of year. I am working on a temporary lighting solution in order to photograph my most recent projects for you. Meanwhile here is a brief flash back to a soft pastel portrait from last year.
If you are new to, or interested in, the olw project there is lots of information on the web and on the blogs of other crafters. I have given you a couple of links below to get you started.
I hope you will find you own word for 2017 and come back to share it with me?
