And having lots of fun.
I had a lovely unexpected evening with friends on Friday evening. Isn't it true that those unplanned random moments are always the best?
Yesterday I spent the day at the Forget Me Not Kraft Kabin in Ashingdon, recovering from a hangover and art journaling with the lovely Emma Godfrey, stamp designer for Paper Artsy.
What a great treat. I met some lovely ladies and was welcomed and made to feel at home immediately by Sharon. Emma is super talented and I learnt some new techniques with the Paper Artsy paints and mediums. The shop is very pretty with lots of interesting stock, and a few things I haven't come across before. Sharon runs quite a few regular classes and I highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. No photos yet, but they will follow shortly.
Meanwhile, I can share a couple of painted and embellished packaging pieces I finished recently. I usually like to keep any interesting packaging and prep lots of bits all at once with gesso or left over paint from my craft mat. Then sometimes I rediscover then and dress them up.
More paint, stamping and stencilling for a bit of texture.
Add few collages stickers and a flower from my collection.
A great way to experiment with some new techniques or colour combinations for a larger project, and free substrate!
And for good measure, here's another.
Some art stones coloured with Paper Artsy Infusions, an Idea-ology tag and a leather thong on this one.
Thank you for visiting dear friend x
